AtB develops, produces and markets instrumentation, used both in research and in clinical application for detection and recording of the magnetic fields associated to the intracellular current flow during human body organs activation.

AtB is run by a board of directors whose CEO is Dr. Ing. Alberto Trebeschi a manager with a long and wide experience in industrial management.

AtB's main business is the development and the production of bio-magnetic source imaging systems for non invasive diagnosis in a large variety of medical disorders.
The systems developed till now, are used to measure and to locate cardiac and neurological signals from the central nervous system (brain) as well as from the peripheral nervous system.

As outsourcing and partnership with very specialized sub-suppliers is one of the main strategies of AtB, the company's structure is kept lean, to have a headcount of less than twenty up to today.

The employee's main activity is concentrated on designing, production control at sub-suppliers sites, final assembly and products final testing of the systems.

R&D is made through the cooperation with European Universities, such as ULM University in Germany, Research Centers, such as CNR (National Research Committee) in Naples Italy and, where needed, with other qualified international consultants. New production methods, new materials to be used in cryogenic non magnetic systems, new data processing and acquisition systems and new products obtained by micro fabrication have been developed.

On the basis of the know how obtained, AtB Italy is operating in the following fields:

In spite of the diversity of application and functionality, the biomagnetic measurement systems are extremely modular, with standardized components.
